After one whole day of photo taking yesterday, we had fun and learnt 'new' things. One lesson for the day is that 'Never think that if you are wearing a TIE, you are very good!'. Shall I describe the situation to you??
At Midpoint Orchard, there are two camera shops. One at the basement and another one at the 2nd level. We went to the basement first in hope that the salesman could help us with my uncle's camera cos someone happened to touch something and we could not take pics.
So, we approached this sales person wearing smart shirt and tie. Then we asked politely if he could help us with the camera. You know what he replied? He said the shop does not do checks and that we should go to the agent instead. Another salesperson (his colleague) even told us to go to Harbourfront!! Ok fine.
We left the place, feeling like shit. Went up, then approached this guy with a t-shirt and we could see some tattoo's on his body. Though he looks robust, in fact, he was quite helpful!! He just told us that the lens was positioned in the wrong position. Pfft.
Just because of something little, the 'so-called' better dressed salesman said we have to go to Harbourfront! Funny is it? I boycott that shop I tell you.
So yeah. Many things happened and we bonded with some others from the studio quite well.
After like 11 hrs at orchard road, we went back to school. And... Had fun! Well actually we were tired lah. But we had to do the pin-up materials for presentation on the next day, which was today! And only came home at 10.30-11pm.
After today's crit, (which swee and perry was late for... ) I am quite satisfied with the layout and the visual presentation. Only that, I wished we had done what we thought was right. But what done is done. So yeah, we learn!
Not much assignment this weekend. I want to sleep now. Haha. Padahal baru bangun tido. No lah, I wanna take my bath first. Then sleep. can? ok go!
